#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

Do you ever suspect that everyone else has life figured out and you don’t have a clue? If so, Rachel Hollis has something to tell you: that’s a lie.

As the founder of the lifestyle website TheChicSite.com and CEO of her own media company, Rachel Hollis developed an immense online community by sharing tips for better living while fearlessly revealing the messiness of her own life. Now, in this challenging and inspiring new book, Rachel exposes the twenty lies and misconceptions that too often hold us back from living joyfully and productively, lies we’ve told ourselves so often we don’t even hear them anymore.

With painful honesty and fearless humor, Rachel unpacks and examines the falsehoods that once left her feeling overwhelmed and unworthy, and reveals the specific practical strategies that helped her move past them. In the process, she encourages, entertains, and even kicks a little butt, all to convince you to do whatever it takes to get real and become the joyous, confident woman you were meant to be.

With unflinching faith and rock-hard tenacity, Girl, Wash Your Face shows you how to live with passion and hustle--and how to give yourself grace without giving up.

I had to stop. I normally try to finish a book. I couldn’t.

She’s way to mentally unstable to be writing a self help book. Almost seems like she’s bragging about how hard she works. It would be nice if readers knew in advance if see was going to go on and on about god and scriptures.

I seriously can’t say enough good things about this book. I never read and I read this book in 5 evenings. First page and I was hooked. Totally relatable and gave me so much power and motivation. I will definitely be reading more of Rachel’s books!!

This book had a lot of promotion. Although I finished it... it’s just not my best read.

If I had known God would be talked about in every chapter I would've saved my money and gotten a different book. Would do anything for a refund.

First, I want to say thank you for writing this! I needed to hear it at this point in my life. Second, I loved the humor in here and I definitely love your chapter on using your imagination as a tool to achieving your goals. —————————————————— This book is truly a breath of fresh air. I laughed, I cried and I related. Especially being a working mom. I really appreciated her raw honesty. You definitely cannot go wrong reading this book. If anything you might be able to add a few more tricks to your bag for helping you to deal with life.

I can barely get past the first ten pages. First of all, I did not realize this was going to be a faith based book. My bad. Maybe it doesn’t turn out to be but she’s mentioned her (or my) faith several times already. But I think what is worse is that she goes on and on and on about why she is so absolutely not perfect, or limited, or flawed. Duh! There’s no breakthrough there. Don’t we all know no one is perfect and we all know that the life people portray on social media is not real? As an individual reading her book, why does she assume I would ever be envious of her life or I think she had everything together? Wish I could return as I will not be able to bring myself to finish this one.

I was excited to read this for myself after hearing so many positive reviews. Unfortunately I couldn’t finish it. A little too condescending towards those who aren’t as successful as she with a “major media company” and a little too “I’m the hardest worker in the room, etc”. I felt like her chapter on her bad relationship turned marriage could be taken the wrong way for those women in a bad relationship hoping he’ll turn around.
  • Eye opening.

This book brought out many repressed factors of my life. Many factors I feel (felt) defined me. Those factors didn’t , I do. I DEFINE ME! I am making changes for me, changes that make ME the happy, loving person I really AM!
